Use of silica gel for cement product mold:

Cement product mold silica gel is suitable for the duplication of large stone, plaster, cement components, cultural stones, background walls, sandstone carvings  other products  the production of silica gel molds. It can perfectly copy the small grain patterns of the product, which is suitable for mass production  replication of cement products. The silicone mold can be reused, saving production costs for customers! The recommended hardness range is 15-40 Shore degrees,  the final hardness value is determined according to customer product requirements  processes.

Features of Cement Product Mold Silica Gel:

Cement product mold silicone operation

1. Preparation tools: planks, rulers, knives, hot melt glue guns, etc.;

2. Clean the surface of the mold,  evenly apply a layer of release agent (washing detergent),  fix the mold on a flat wooden  glass plate;

3. Cut the corresponding wooden board, surround the mold (leave a distance of about 5mm between the board  the mold,  apply a release agent),  seal the gaps on the four sides with a hot melt glue gun;

4. According to the size of the mold, the complexity of the structure  the use of weighed silica gel for proportioning, fully mix  stir a part of the mold,  then vacuum together;

5. After vacuuming, pour all the remaining silica gel into the mold;

6. After the silicone is fully cured (3-4 hours), remove the cardboard, remove the silicone mold,  trim the excess silicone on the four sides with scissors;

7. Demould, take out the mould, trim the edge;

8. At this point, the whole process is over,  it can be put into production after 24 hours. Store the silicone mold in a ventilated, cool  dry place.

Cement product mold silica gel operation attention:

1. Use clean operating tools to prevent silica gel  mixing with impurities  affecting curing;

2. The amount of curing agent added should depend on the temperature,  it will decrease if the temperature is higher. Excessive addition of curing agent will affect the quality of the mold,  the silicone mold will become brittle; adding less curing agent will prolong the curing time;

3. Vacuum to -0.1mpa is enough,  the vacuum time should  be too long to prevent cross-linking reaction of silica gel when vacuuming, causing silica gel to become piece by piece, causing waste of raw materials;

4. After making the silicone mold, store it in a ventilated, cool  dry place,  put it into production after 24 hours.
