Liquid silicone is divided into addition molding condensation type. No matter which type, the operation method is the same. The difference is that the ratio of silicone curing agent is different. The ratio here refers to the ratio of weight to volume, everyone should pay attention to this. The ratio of addition type silica gel to curing agent is 1:1; the ratio of condensation type silica gel to curing agent is 100:2-2.5. There are three types of silica gel operation techniques: perfusion mold, brush mold split mold. The following editor will show you how to use condensed liquid silica gel:

1. Mix stir the liquid silicone curing agent at a ratio of 100:2. Note that it must be stirred evenly to prevent the silicone uncuring;

2. Coat the mold species mold frame that have been made with release agent, fix the mold species in the middle of the mold frame, leaving a certain distance around;

3. Put the agitated liquid silica gel into a vacuum machine for vacuuming to remove bubbles. The purpose of this is to completely eliminate bubbles make the finished product smoother bubble-free. If there is no vacuum machine, the curing time of the silicone can be extended, the bubbles can also be discharged, but the effect is very satisfactory.

4. Pour the silica gel that has eliminated the bubbles into the mold frame slowly steadily until the silica gel can completely cover the mold, then wait for it to solidify. (If it is an addition molded silicone, it can also be put in the oven to heat cure, it will be fully cured in about 10 minutes)

5. After the liquid silicone is completely cured, the mold is demolded. After the silicone mold is taken out, the edge burr is processed, now a silicone mold is completed. In order to make the mold achieve good results, it is recommended that you put the silicone mold for 24 hours before using it!
