First, clean the silicone hand mold made of liquid silicone, evenly smear the mold release Vaseline on the inside of the mold, then close the silicone mold without leaving a gap in a good position, close the plaster outer mold/fiberglass outer mold, tie The belt is wound around the outer mold two to three times to fix the closed mold. Prepare tools materials: mixing barrel, stirring rod, silica gel, etc. Liquid silica gel can be used for liquid silica gel.

After the above steps are completed, we can start to mix mix the liquid silica gel in the correct proportions pour it into the mold. For a normal human-sized hand, the amount of material we mix mix for the first time is about 50~80G, it is 1:1 Mix evenly, the mixing time is 2~3mins. After the mixing is completed, put it into the vacuum box drain the bubbles for about 3mins. Take it out pour it directly into the mold. After the silica gel has completely flowed into each finger at the bottom, slowly place the mold flat. Slowly rotate the mold 360° until the silica gel in the mold starts to crosslink, then place the mold upside down on a flat worktable.

When the mold is placed upside down on the flat workbench, we start the second time of silicone mixing vacuuming defoaming. The second reclaiming amount is controlled at about 80~100G. The specific detailed operation steps are mentioned above will be repeated here. ..... Put the mold on the flat workbench just upside down pour in the silica gel that has been mixed vacuumed for the second time. Also wait until the silica gel has completely flowed to the bottom of each finger then lay it flat. Rotate at 360° to directly turn the mold into the semi-crosslinked state. Put the mold upside down on the flat workbench. Part of the silica gel in the mold will flow out on the flat workbench. After 1h, we touch the silicone on the workbench in the mold with our hands. We can release the mold directly if it is dry. If it is still sticky, we can release the mold after 30 minutes.

So far we have completed the process of making silicone human leather gloves. The finished product is only beautiful in appearance uniform in thickness, but also can be directly worn on the hand used as a non-slip aesthetic design for the external structure of a manipulator robot.
