Architectural decoration mold silica gel is widely used in the reproduction of products with fine patterns. It is mainly used in the production of silica gel molds for various European-style components, plaster products, cement products, sculptures, statues,  handicrafts. The recommended hardness range is 20-35 Shore,  the hardness value is determined according to the customer's product requirements  process.

Features of architectural decoration mold silicone:

1. Low viscosity, no impurities, moderate hardness  simple operation process;

2. High temperature resistance, acid  alkali resistance, strong tear resistance, good tensile force, many times of mold reversal, suitable for mass production of products;

3. The performance of silicone can be adjusted as required,  the silicone mold made will  deform  expand;

Construction decoration mold silicone operation:

1. Prepare tools: planks, rulers, knives, brushes, etc.;

2. Handle the mold species  fix the mold species on the board;

3. Die mold line: Separate two molds  multiple molds according to the product to make the product easy to demold. The mold line is positioned at the high point of the mold,  it must go  the unobvious joint part;

4. Pile up the parts below the mold line with oil sludge, the hardness of the oil sludge should  be too large,  the pile should be close to the mold;

5. Put on the tenon  leave the mold about one centimeter away, which is convenient for mold clamping  makes the mold good position;

6. Apply a release agent evenly on the surface of the mold. The release agent can be a detergent  soapy water;

7. Mix the gypsum product silica gel according to the ratio of 100:2-2.5  mix it evenly,  put it into a vacuum machine to vacuum (if there is no vacuum machine, the amount of curing agent added can be reduced, the curing time can be extended,  the excess bubbles can be released) ；

8. After vacuuming, the silica gel is evenly coated on the mold. The thickness of the first layer of silica gel is less than 1mm, which can cover the mold  sludge thinly; after the first layer is cured (about 15 minutes), brush For the second layer of silica gel, the addition ratio of the second layer of curing agent is higher than that of the first layer. The curing time of the silica gel should be controlled at 5-8 minutes; after brushing the second  third layer of silica gel, when the silica gel is  flowing, place it on top of the silica gel Paste a layer of gauze to enhance the hardness of the silica gel,  then apply a layer of silica gel evenly (the gauze can be added appropriately depending on the product size, generally no more than two layers);

9. After the plaster is cured, it can be used as a plaster outer mold. Use the cut cardboard to surround the mold  fix it without any gaps. Then pour the adjusted plaster into the mold; after the plaster is cured, remove the cardboard, trim the edge of the plaster outer mold,  fix the other side of the plaster. Clean the sludge  repeat the steps above to make the outer plaster mold on the other side;

10 After the outer mold is completely cured, remove the cardboard, remove the entire plaster outer mold  the silicone mold, check the silicone mold,  trim the mold  the outer mold with scissors. At this point, even if the silicone mold of a gypsum product is completely completed, it is generally put into production after 24 hours.

Attention to the operation of building decoration mold silicone:

1. Use clean operating tools to prevent silica gel  mixing with impurities  affecting curing;

2. The amount of curing agent added should depend on the temperature,  it will decrease if the temperature is higher. Excessive addition of curing agent will affect the quality of the mold,  the silicone mold will become brittle; adding less curing agent will prolong the curing time;

3. Vacuum to -0.1mpa is enough,  the vacuum time should  be too long to prevent cross-linking reaction of silica gel when vacuuming, causing silica gel to become piece by piece, causing waste of raw materials;

4. After making the silicone mold, store it in a ventilated, cool  dry place,  put it into production after 24 hours.
