Under normal circumstances, we will use a vacuum machine to exhaust bubbles, but in the absence of a vacuum machine, how can food-grade liquid silica gel exhaust bubbles without a vacuum machine?

       If there are only a few bubbles on the surface, the reason is that the bubbles brought in when the silica gel is mixed with the curing agent are eliminated, so we must stir clockwise along the wall of the container when we stir. The liquid silica gel flows down slowly in the form of filaments, so that the glue can be poured while eliminating bubbles. After filling, the bubbles on the surface can be punctured with a toothpick.

       Food-grade silica gel can withstand high temperatures. When encountering a large number of bubbles, we can use a slightly higher temperature to bake the curing agent of the liquid silica gel to remove impurities, reduce the bubbles use a blower air gun to blow away the bubbles; of course Also pay attention to whether the mold is food, such as a chocolate mold, use an air gun to blow away air bubbles on the surface.

       We can also extend the curing time by controlling the ratio of silica gel curing agent to allow time for the bubbles to drain naturally. For example, the weight ratio of food-grade silica gel to catalyst is 1:1. We can slightly reduce the catalyst reduce the two components. The cross-linking reaction is quick-freezing, so that the bubbles in the liquid food-grade silica gel will be slowly discharged upward to reduce the bubbles; you can also negotiate with the food-grade liquid silica gel manufacturer during the ordering process to adjust the operating time to control the bubble elimination.

       The above-mentioned use of toothpicks sharp air to puncture the bubbles, blower air gun to blow away the bubbles can only eliminate the bubbles on the food-grade silicone surface, but cannot ensure that the entire silicone product is free of bubbles. If you want to remove the bubbles, you must use vacuum to remove the bubbles.
